Knife of Brian came about through my love of food. It started as a private blog where I'd store my recipes online. It was also designed to help me improve my literacy skills. I am not a great writer by any stretch, but I do enjoy writing. I also used the blog to put content up for students when I was teaching.
As the years have passed, more and more people began to ask me to help with their own parties and cater their events. I pretty much always said yes. Years on, I am realising that the life of a chef on the front line of a kitchen can only go on so long. So I launched KOB as a catering business to give myself a new direction. I love working at the Greyhound Ipswich. But this gives me the opportunity to work with my own rules and engage with people directly.
